Cuvée 1880 celebrates the conception of Grand Marnier, when, in 1880, Louis-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle began blending Cognac with oranges which, while common today, were a luxury spoil at the turn of the 20th century. When Louis Alexandre first created this esteemed liqueur, it was a disruption the status quo, combining the complex-yet-smooth flavor of premium Cognacs with the exotic distilled essence of oranges from the Caribbean.
