Alexander Murray 1992 Bruichladdich Distillery 21 year old Bruichladdich was founded in 1881 and can be found on the North shore of Loch Indaal, Islay. The Distillery looks across the water at Bowmore Distillery. Bruichladdich was constructed in 1881 by Robert William and John Gourlay Harvey. Bruichladdich is not a “Traditional” Islay whisky as it is only slightly peated. It has the complex Islay taste but does not over power you with that punch of smoke like other Islay Whiskies.
