Details

Established in 1824, the Glenlivet distillery is one of the oldest and longest operating in Scotland – a fact that it prides itself in as per their slogan, "the single malt that started it all". Currently operating under the Pernod Ricard, the distillery markets their expressions both as an in-house bottling and through independent bottlers allowing drinkers worldwide to experience the flavors of their exquisite Scotch. Released in 2013, this Alexander Murray & Co. bottling of the Glenlivet 45 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a well-aged whisky offering a sumptuous blend of flavors that only the rarest of Scotch can deliver. Distilled from 100% malted barley and barreled in 1968, this whiskey spent decades slowly maturing in oak casks before being finally tapped 45 years later and bottled at a healthy 80 proof to create a robust and rounded Scotch that is perfect for sipping.
