This masterful expression is initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels, building a foundation of soft vanilla and honey notes. The liquid is then transferred to rare casks first used for 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry. This secondary maturation adds depth and silken elegance to the finished whisky, testament to those exquisite Sherry casks.
