Under the watchful eye of Master Distiller Gregg Glass, the spirit is initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels. This gives its first base of soft vanilla and honey notes.
The whisky is then carefully apportioned between casks which have held 30-Year-Old Matusalem Oloroso sherry and Tawny Port pipes. It is then brought back together to harmonise in a first-fill ex-Bourbon barrel, creating something truly exceptional.
