In 1923 Shinjiro Torii founded the first distillery of Japan named Yamazaki and started the success story of the Japanese whisky. Just like its Scottish example it is produced in the pot still method. Best water deposits and the influence of former bourbon barrels, Spanish sherry barrels and barrels made of Japanese water oak complete the whisky. A guarantee for harmonious taste.
